I came across Muxmool on Soundcloud. A case of I just felt like listening to something that was new and he’s on the Ghostly International label…and if I were to be a Record Label, I’d be Ghostly.

Wanting to stick to a limited colour palette [in case you didn't notice - the others have been very much so a two toned affair] I made blue the colour de force.

When I listened to the Star Fighter Courage it made me feel like I was trapped in the level of some video game of the 90s a bit. I listened to a lot of his tracks but ultimately I wanted a way out. Enough is enough if you’re not in love with the tunes.

The painting represents trying to get out of listening to his track but creating something to be able to leave. The 8 bit sounds from Starfighter Courage are what spiralled the computer-esque characters.

To finish, I painted that character at the bottom right corner that is walking away and I wrote in infant type ‘i think i won’.
