I was looking forward to listening to Apparat‘s latest creation. It was released a couple of days ago and I had my first full listen through painting to it this evening.
RGBeats isn’t about reviewing music as such, but I will say this of The Devils Walk – the similarities to Radiohead on this album are welcome and it’s surprisingly down beat [in build ups], keeping in tone with 2007s Walls.
The music is quite poignant and in particular, The Soft Voices Die [listen below], transport you into that same field of pensiveness that an Antlers track might send you to.
The result is to the left – I stopped painting once the last track had stopped. Slightly misplaced is just a lyric I picked up on the listen.
